What do we know about Battlefield 4? Well, we know that's it's going to stick with the modern setting, we know that it's going to have a multiplayer beta, and we know that EA is planning a 2014 release date. Oh, and we know it's coming to the PlayStation 4. EA has been tight-lipped when it comes to Battlefield 4, and now we know why: It's a next-gen game. Considering how remarkable Battlefield 3's Frostbite 2 Engine looked on current-gen tech, we're excited to see what DICE can do with advanced hardware. We also hope that the new hardware means big things for the popular multiplayer modes, be it in the form of larger maps or new features.
